Description

Working closely and as part of the care team, you will ensure that service users receive the highest standards of care and support through effective allocation of staff. You will direct, mentor and supervise the team to ensure quality standards are maintained and that care is delivered in a timely way in line with service user’s individual needs and wishes.

Experience/Knowledge
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Minimum of 3 years of working in care
Education/Qualification
  • Level 2/ 3 in Health and Social Care

  • To ensure that all documentation completed by the care team and you are done so as near to the point of care delivery, is accurate and includes up to date information about the service user’s overall wellbeing
  • To adhere to all safeguarding processes are always followed
  • To monitor the care practice of individual carer’s, addressing any issues of concern proactively, including reporting and documenting as required.
Statutory Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all staff, including yourself take reasonable care of their own and other people’s health and safety whilst at work
  • To ensure that all staff attend and follow training provided by the organisation to maintain good health and safety standards and are familiar with relevant policies and procedures.
  • To ensure all staff report accidents, incidents and unsafe practices to the appropriate person.
